Hoang
Post.

Briefed at 6pm.
Cut by morning.

Saigon, VNEN/FR

Hoang Post is an editing and colour studio in Saigon, built for production companies and agencies in Europe. You keep the client and the credit. We keep the deadline.

Post direction in English and French.

We cut fiction first.
That's why our commercials tell stories.

Dialogue, performance, comedy timing. A scripted spot, characters, a campaign that runs on comedy: send it here. We cut to music too, it is just never what we sell first.

Every case with its context.

What we did, how many versions, how fast. The films below are our own post production work. Click to play with sound.

Three departments, one address.

Edit.

Narrative editing by a senior editor: dialogue scenes, performance, comedy timing. Selects argued in writing, structure before style, and the editable timeline delivered with every master.

[SENIOR EDITOR, NAME AND SELECTED CREDITS TO BE CONFIRMED BY SAMSON]

Colour.

Grading and finishing under the post supervisor, a colorist with a film emulation culture: density first, then contrast, then color. The same eye follows your project from brief to master.

Post supervision and grade: Hoang.

Sound.

Sound design and mix under the same roof: dialogue cleanup, foley and texture, music balance, loudness to spec for every platform. The cut and the sound are finished by the same team.

[SOUND DESIGNER, NAME AND CREDITS TO BE CONFIRMED BY SAMSON]

No invented names, no stock faces. The people credited on this site are the people on your project.

Film emulation, not a preset.

Our grading comes out of a film culture: density first, then contrast, then color. We build a look for the project and hold it across every deliverable. You get the graded master, the still references, and the node tree if you want it.

What we take on.

  • Commercials, 30 to 120 seconds
  • Music videos
  • Brand films and long form
  • Social cutdown packs
  • Grade only, per film

No public grid of promises: every quote carries its delivery date, in writing, and we hold it.

One detail of the process helps: Saigon runs ahead of Paris, so comments sent in your morning come back the same day.

One client tells it best.

It started with one test edit, in [MONTH YEAR TO BE CONFIRMED BY SAMSON]: rushes sent from Paris at 6pm, a first cut in their inbox before noon the next day.

They sent a second project the same week. Today we are behind [X] deliverables a month for this Paris production company: music videos, commercials, social cutdowns. Average first cut: [X] hours. [FIGURES TO BE CONFIRMED BY SAMSON]

Their producers close their day with a brief. Our editors open theirs with the rushes. Comments sent in the Paris morning are handled the same day. They keep the client and the credit. We keep the deadline.

Three ways to work with us.

The 72h Test Edit

Start here

Send one real project. Rushes, brief, references. You get a first cut in 72 hours, on Frame.io, with the editable timeline, at 60 percent of our normal rate. If it is not right for you, it ends there.

  • One real project, not a showreel exercise
  • First cut in 72 hours from receipt of rushes
  • Editable timeline for Premiere or Resolve
  • Post direction in English or French

Per project

One film, one quote, agreed before we start. Commercial edit plus grade, music video edit, social cutdown packs, or grading alone, per finished minute.

The Dedicated Editor

A senior editor inside your pipeline, on a monthly commitment. Your project structure, your naming, your delivery specs. Post direction included.

No public prices. Every quote is written for the project, with its delivery date, before we start.

How a project runs.

  1. 01

    Brief and rushes

Frame.io, or a secure transfer of your choice. We confirm what we received and what we understood, in writing, within your working day.

  2. 02

    Post direction in your language

English or French, written and on calls. One person answers you, from the first message to delivery.

  3. 03

    Versioned cuts

Every cut lands on Frame.io, numbered, watermarked, with timecoded comments. You get an update every day the project is open.

  4. 04

    Delivery

Graded master in your specs, plus the editable timeline and the source project. Premiere or Resolve. You own the files.

Security

  • NDA on every project, signed before rushes move.
  • Secure storage, access limited to the people on your project.
  • Watermarked previews for every review link.
  • Rushes never leave the pipeline and are wiped on request.

What producers ask first.

How do revisions work?

Comments on Frame.io, timecoded. We answer each one in writing so you know what was applied and what we pushed back on. Two rounds are included on a project edit, more if the scope says so.

Who owns the files and the projects?

You do. You get the graded master, the editable timeline and the source project. Nothing stays locked in our building.

How do calls work with the time difference?

Your morning is our afternoon, so a call before noon Paris time is easy for both of us. We are online in English and French until your early evening, and comments sent in your morning come back the same day.

What software do you use?

Premiere and DaVinci Resolve, with Frame.io for review. We deliver in whichever of the two your team works in, and we match your project structure and naming.

How is quality controlled?

Every cut is reviewed by the post supervisor before it reaches you: sync, framing, audio levels, grade consistency, delivery specs. Nothing goes out on a monitor we have not calibrated.

How do we start?

With one real project on the 72h Test Edit. Send rushes and a brief today, open a first cut in three days, and decide from there.

Send us a project.

One real brief tells us more than a call. We answer within 24 working hours.
